Chen Yang has advised sponsors, large corporates, banks, credit funds and other financial institutions across a broad range of transactions.
Chen Yang previously spent a decade in London and has worked for top US law firms prior to moving back to Singapore in 2022. Since then, he has worked at a NYSE listed tech company in Singapore handling a variety of projects which includes financing buy-now-pay-later receivables in Southeast Asia, providing legal support on SME and retail fintech products as well as managing corporate restructurings prior to joining Golden Gate Ventures.
In his spare time, he loves cooking Italian meals (no connection, just gluttony) and making pasta from scratch. One of his goals this year would be to pick up golf and get a decent handicap as well as to refresh his skydiving license so he can continue jumping out of perfectly functioning planes.
